      Don't waste your time

      Aug 26, 2017 - Front/Back Office Medical A Assistant in Compton, CA

      Pros

theres not much, other than a good stable job.

      Cons

This place seriously causes lots of stress and anxiety. They don't care about their employees, all that corporate cares about is profit. Upper management and administration expect patients not to have wait times but they do not understand how stressful these clinics get. When you try to make a report about harrasment, unprofessional employees, or anything else they will not care. Seriously don't waste your time.

      Pros

Working with customers/patients and having different tasks throughout the day.

      Cons

New center manager is a micro-manager and calls everyone into her office on every little detail. She delegates jobs that are not trainable to your set skills and then writes you up when you're not doing it to her standards. Upper management is horrible and all they care about is numbers and not patient care. Everyone is miserable at this office. HORRIBLE BENEFITS. NO PAY RAISES. NO PLACE FOR ADVANCEMENT.

Non medical managers run the show

      Pros

It's a job and a pay check. Co workers can be supportive. Helping someone injured or sick.

      Cons

      1. Non medical clinic managers control clinics and attempt to manage Doc's, P.A.'s and medical workers. 2. No respect given to medical team from upper management. 3. Slow-no consideration for clients waiting for HOURS for a simple urine drug screen that takes a few miniutes. 4. Treat workers comp patients like they are liars.

      Disgraceful

      Pros

Direct supervisors/managers are wonderful. Helpful, caring and patient. Wonderful work environment.

      Cons

Upper management, the ones who never see the clinics, make decisions with no regard for patient care. Not replacing staff when they leave, expecting that the remaining staff can continue to take care of more and more patients with less staff. This puts patients at risk, but they don't care, as long as their "numbers" look good.

      Pros

To learn what not to do...

      Cons

Management does not care about it's employees. They use you in order to advance themselves. Quality of care is poor. Customer service is poor. There is no accountability at any level of upper management. Everything is blamed on front line managers.

      Pros

Not a single one! This place is an absolute disaster.

      Cons

Management is clueless, using antiquated systems, procedures, and out dated management techniques. Upper management fights progress and vision as it threatens them because of their incompetence.
