I worked at U.S. Nonwovens Corp full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working in the creative department is the ONLY pro.

    Cons

Oh, where do I begin? Everything comes from the top. The bosses/CEO create this toxic culture that trickles down to the department heads, and the department heads, which lead to them treating their employees like crap. This then creates a general atmosphere of toxicity and fear. Everyone is on edge, talk in secret, throw each other under the bus frequently, and are afraid to take responsibility. If you are someone that does not have a backbone, stay as far away as possible. If you are someone that doesn't mind confrontation, you'll be in aggressive fights daily.

No sick days offered-- you must take this out of your vacation time. No health coverage- you must pay full price.

The boss/CEO, Shervin, is a bully (in every sense of the word). He is literally THE WORST BOSS ever. He has NO clue how to lead. He loves to treat others as if he's better than them. He micro-manages everyone in the company to the smallest detail. He has NO concern for his employees and will work them to the bone in an abusive atmosphere (including abusive language). He will be judged one day by God for his actions.

    Advice to Management

Management KNOWs about these bad reviews and they don't care. My advice to the COMPANIES that HIRE USN is to stop giving them business.

    I worked at U.S. Nonwovens Corp full-time

    Pros

There are no reasons you should work for this company.

    Cons

The only "good" reviews on here are fake. The CEO forces you to write good reviews about the company. Don't believe any of them.

CEO's method for "leading" is by threatening, yelling and cursing at you and telling you you're worthless, until you quit - then calls you back the next day and begs for you to come back.

Upper management (which really just means the CEO) are incredibly selfish people. The other VP's have no dignity within the company and offer no support for their colleagues. They are just the CEO's b*tches.

The company is run by lying, stealing and cheating. CEO pins employees against each other and watches via email, then patronizes to have the last words. His decision-making is done out of anger and misconstrued information instead of the facts. Which he won't listen to if you are correct since he always have to be right and have last word. Will argue a point until he "wins", which shows his immaturity is similar to a 5 year old. He plays games with all his clients to try and trick them into making a deal against their will and in his favor.

There are no benefits. Zero health insurance, zero 401k matching, only a few paid holidays a year and very low salaries.

Turnover is extremely high. Company is unorganized because CEO doesn't let anyone else make decisions, so essentially he's running the whole company due to trust issues and need to micro manage. Therefore there are tons of mistakes which he makes employees take the blame for and cover up with lies.

You have to fight with HR to get the overtime money you worked hard for. They do a horrible job and never know what's going on. A big part of their duties is to pay you, and they can't even do that effectively.

Keep away from this toxic, hostile, unhealthy work environment.

    Advice to Management

No matter how wrong they are, they will never take any advice - this section is meaningless.

I worked at U.S. Nonwovens Corp full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent salary, and some of the best people I have ever had the joy to work with.

    Cons

    Where do I begin?

The most disorganized, poorly run, short sighted company I have ever worked for....all the problems this company have can be placed directly on ownership. Micro management to the extreme, to the point where it is severely impacting the operation of the company. Very little care for employees. They project an appearance of caring, but they do not. Health care coverage, dental, coverage is non existent. Company does not contribute one penny towards it. The plans they offer are ridiculously high priced and not affordable by most. PTO is a joke. Only 6 paid holidays a year, and you're out of luck if a holiday falls on a weekend, as there is NO compensating day off like other companies do.

The culture of this company can only be described as toxic. The attitude is you should feel privileged that they have allowed you to work there. They will praise you and degrade you in the same sentence. The micro management is part of why you don't feel like you are valued. You're there to be a yes man for the owners.

People are constantly being moved to either different buildings or different spots. For no real reason. I've never worked for a place that moves people like this one does....just another example of the total disorganization of this company.

Thought processes always revolve around money, and there is never big picture thought put into anything. Ownership manages in the here and now and never puts any thought into the future, choosing to deal with it when it comes.

Hard work is not rewarded. Perception is everything to the CEO. He sees what he thinks is fact and doesn’t bother to actually know the facts, which explains why there are people there who do very little but yet get treated like gold.

In this review section is a spot on assessment of a typical interview for this company, which should warn off anyone. If you are coming to interview it is a crapshoot. You may not spend much time waiting, but do not be surprised if you wait for 30 minutes to over an hour only to be told to come back another time.

The bulk of the 4-5 star reviews of this company are plants. Do not believe some of the ridiculously glowing reviews, as they were put there by ownership or staff under direction of ownership.

Be very wary of this company. If you desperately need a job, this will suffice, but only for a short time. This is not a company you want to spend a lot of years at. There may have been a time where this was an ok place to work at, (doubtful) but that time is long gone. A decent salary isn't enough to put up with all of the utter nonsense that goes on at this company.

    Advice to Management

There's nothing I can say that would change the mindset of management. Good advice and logical, practical thinking is wasted. You can't give advice to people who never believe they are wrong about anything.
