I have been working at U.S. Security Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Are able to get 40 hours a week even if you have to go to different sites throughout the week.

    Cons

You are not able to move up in the company, have been with the company almost 3 years and still at the same pay rate when I started, always have people calling off so you may have to work a double

    Advice to Management

I feel as you all should do better with getting us raises at least after a year, start coming out to see what we do on a regular bases and you will see why I feel the way I do also get better supervisors as well.

I worked at U.S. Security Associates full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nothing was positive about this company. One of the most deceitful companies I have ever worked for. Would recommend to my worst enemy.

    Cons

Very disappointing company. No good ethics. Constantly messed up my paychecks. Charge for cheap uniforms. Unfair work conditions.

    Advice to Management

Treat guards like people, not property abd stop charging for uniforms. That's horrible.

I have been working at U.S. Security Associates full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Unprofessional in so many ways

    Cons

Definitely don't treat their employees right, Managers have bad attitudes, they lie all the time, your pay check be incorrect, this will happen for months, Managers shows favorites all the time, Managers stealing time, has been proven, nothing happened, that's where your pay check come short, lied about pay raises,
always short of staff, no ones happy, quick to make changes on sites because they don't properly train everyone on everything, hire anybody looking for a job, never speak or stand up for employees when there right under any circumstances. Very pitiful and sad company to work for. One star just to speak. No good future here.

    Advice to Management

Need serious improvement for everything, nothing good working here

I have been working at U.S. Security Associates full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You technically get paid. Most of the time. Unless they screw it up. I really can't think of many pros.

    Cons

The pay is low and often there mistakes. They forget hours, pay at the wrong rate, etc. The benefits aren't good. No paid holidays. The vacation system is bizarre and definitely not in your favor.

    Advice to Management

Get your act together. I moved from a union account to non union and three months later no one has opened enrollment in the health care for me. No one can answer my questions about vacation. This should be a standard process but no one knows what they're doing.

I have been working at U.S. Security Associates full-time

    Pros

A lot of downtime and easy work. Spent time reading and studying and depending where you're placed the client can treat you right.

    Cons

Management, coverage issues, payroll issues. Worked there for 3 years and covered anyone that's ever called out or quit. If you make one mistake then they punish you regardless of what favors you go out of your way to do for them. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT EMPLOYEES, ONLY THE CONTRACTS WITH THEIR CLIENTS!

    Advice to Management

Treat employees with respect instead of attempting to be perfect for the client

All the Senior Management need to be replaced, they have no idea how to deal with a Client, but that still wouldn't make up for the junk pay. Thinking about working for these jerks? Just Google this and read- U.S. Security Associates to Pay More Than $46M for Negligence

I worked at U.S. Security Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are no pros. They under pay their employees, their benefits SUCK, and they do not treat their employees well.

    Cons

They under pay their employees, their benefits SUCK, and they do not treat their employees well. They lay people off without any notice that layoffs may be on the horizon. Management is terrible as they have the bonuses etc. They are sneaky in the way that they do not communicate well with their employees. They provide ZERO training to new and existing employees.

    Advice to Management

STOP MICRO-MANAGING - you get what you pay for. Be a leader in the industry as far as benefits and salary goes not a follower.
