I have been working at U.S. Security Associates full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

During busy times and when you have a few call-offs, you can end up with plenty of overtime. It's pretty cut and dry work where you talk to a lot of people and use a lot of communication skills and interact with a lot of people. They offer medical and vision care, but I can't honestly comment on it as I pay out of pocket for private insurance that I retained from a former employer.
You do not need to be armed to find work with this company and they do pay well for those that are at a permanent location.

    Cons

If you are in a flex position, it does not pay as well and you my have to travel a good distance between site locations. Also as mentioned above, there is, on rare occasions, overtime. For those with young children, that means that you may have to find someone to watch your kids while you work and note that it may mean that you will only have a few hours notice that they will need you to stay late or come in early.

    Advice to Management

Please listen to your guards more. They have brilliant ideas and they can really advance the company as a whole.

    Pros

Ver easy tasks. Flexible schedules. Close to home. Fun work environment. Paid on time. Free uniforms. It's a decent paycheck.

    Cons

Low pay compared to what other companies pay. You will never get overtime. You will always have to work on holidays.

    Advice to Management

Stop showing favoritism to a family member. Taking hours away from someone else so your family member gets more.
