I have been working at U.S. Security Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people you work with, sometimes, are cool. Most Supervisors okay. Was a Pro, weekly pay, but not anymore. *** See Cons***

    Cons

Corporate just decided to pay biweekly, instead of every week. When your pay is low, weekly pay helps you pay bills, without late fees, gas for travel to and from work, etc. Biweekly and $10 an hour is a big problem. Weekly pay was the best thing about this job. Company, I think, will lose a lot of people due to this decision. Now low paid Officers will have to go 2 weeks on low pay, bad, bad decision corporate.

    Advice to Management

With the pay schedule change, get ready to lose some contracts, not enough people to cover posts. Bad, no, very bad move.

I have been working at U.S. Security Associates full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There aren’t any pros to working here, besides the select number of employees who show up and do they job, they make life easier

    Cons

Too much work for little pay. They over work you and there is no work-life balance. They don’t care about their employees. The Turnover is ridiculous, they can’t get people to stay for such low pay, the pay checks are always wrong for the security guards, and they do not allow the branch level to fix the checks. So it takes even longer for the guards to get the money they worked for

    Advice to Management

    Pay your employees more

I have been working at U.S. Security Associates full-time

    Pros

Decent salary. No uniform requirement for management.

    Cons

Not enough supervisors assign to the branch or client locations. Average salary across the branch for guards is too low.

    Advice to Management

Lowest wage in the branch should not be less than $12.00 hourly.

    Pros

The money is good, especially if your are lucky enough to work at a facility full time with set hours

    Cons

I dislike how long it takes for my direct deposit to hit my account. Im still receiving paper checks in the mail which is a no no and it has been nearly four pay periods later

    Advice to Management

If a employee forgets to fill out their direct deposit slip correctly please call them to let them know.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Give some type of incentive to loyal and punctual for their commitment to the job. That would encourage employee morale ...

I have been working at U.S. Security Associates part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I really like the free time at this job. Depending in the site, we're allowed to bring our computers and stuff so it's actually pretty fun. It doesn't even feel like a job honestly.

    Cons

Some sites pay kinda low considering the fact that it's overnight.

    Advice to Management

Please add incentives for covering shifts. There are times where I've covered shifts out of their despiration just to be paid way less than my usual pay grade which is kind of annoying.
