I have been working at U.S. Trust full-time

    Pros

Good benefits, mostly a collegial work environment depending on where you are.

    Cons

Pay is likely on seniority so a bunch of old dumb people are likely getting paid more than younger better workers.

    I worked at U.S. Trust full-time

    Pros

Good benefits and coworkers, along with a steady paycheck with reasonable hours.

    Cons

Toxic work environment with inefficient managers. The entire company sees this role as the bottom of the barrel. Only take this job if you need the paycheck. If you are looking for any kind of career development or a place where you will be treated like a human being, look elsewhere. Oh, and the pay is not competitive with other competitors. Shop around before you accept an offer here.

    I worked at U.S. Trust full-time

    Pros

Learned a lot, good working environment, manager willing to help and answer any questions

    Cons

Kept in the dark about a lot of vital information, odd HR policies and manager had tendency of having a false sense of politeness toward others.

Strong job security, well known company, good first step into wealth management, decent pay, they gave me good software for research at work

    Cons

poor work environment, low morale, very slow progression in pay, a lot of politics, people can be a little cold, and there's too much middle management

I worked at U.S. Trust full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Training, seemingly nice working environment, people care about their clients. Fiduciary platform. As long as you are in favor, you're in good shape.

    Cons

Management is horrible. Favorites are played. Agist organization. Look out if you are over 55...especially women (that goes for all of BofA). They read all of your emails too. Lots of little spies and miles in the organization so you have to watch your back constantly. Trust no one at US Trust.
