I worked at UBS (More than a year)

    Pros

Great team to work with. They pay very well. The company is respected and the role is varied.

    Cons

Usual frustrations with a global company. There are many teams that are being off shored now so it is becoming harder to progress within.

    Advice to Management

    None

I worked at UBS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company is quite good when it comes to salary. I liked the overall strategy and the people that worked there.

    Cons

I can't really come up with any cons. Sometimes it took people a while to climb the ladder, but other than that it was good.

    Advice to Management

Keep in mind that people are looking for opportunities and they want to climb the ladder quickly. They want to improve their career

I worked at UBS as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I found the majority of people were great to work with. I formed many long lasting friendships through out my time at UBS.

    Cons

Management has no transparency, uses out dated thinking and are only in their current roles due to being with the company for x amount of years and survived the culls at various times. They lack leadership, empathy and basic communication skills. High employee turn over due to the poor management and treatment of entry level employees.
