      Pros

Autonomy. Not micromanaged (Kaiser is the worst at this). Big wigs seem to really appreciate their staff and support our voice. Ability to learn new position. Good benefits. I love my coworkers. I’ve learned a ton of stuff as a nurse in trauma, at a level one hospital.

      Cons

Less pay then other hospitals in the area. No dedicated break relief. Lots of challenging patients (hit, spit, kick). Overtime is rarely accounted for.

      Stuck in the Past

      Pros

They have good benefits and technology.

      Cons

Administration is made up of old-fashioned micro-managers and outdated leadership who value control over their employees over the quality of their work. The lack of diversity of the executive leadership is astounding in 2020.

      Pros

Good benefits if you are full time. Co workers are awesome and the job is easy for the great pay.

      Cons

Bad management and no benefits for per diem. The FNS department plays favorites and will take advantage/ bully you as well.

      Pros

      Cons

Micromanaging, low pay, not valued as employees. Management treats you as your just passing through. Lots of bullying and nepotism by management.

      Great potential but terribly disappointing

Jul 31, 2019 - Administrative Officer in Sacramento, CA
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

The benefits are good, and most of the employees are wonderful to work and interact with.

      Cons

Parking is terrible and ridiculously expensive. Administration is out of touch with staff who work "on the front lines." There is huge in equity in the way staff of different departments and classifications are treated and compensated. Staff are not appreciated and feel they are not important to the organization.
