I worked at UC Irvine (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great weather and beautiful campus. Some of the professors actually try to help.

    Cons

In my time at UCI, I witnessed several cases of unethical misconduct by faculty and staff as well as fraud in the laboratories by the PI.

    Advice to Management

When I brought up the unethical practices and fraud to the department heads, they decided it was best to keep things quiet and protect the faculty, shifting the blame elsewhere and pretending it didn't happen. That was the moment I lost all confidence in the institution.
