    I worked at UCLA Health full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Organization is top in the country and has amazing benefits. Fairly advanced for being a non-profit.

    Cons

    Retirement benefits were reduced by CA legislators. Not a lot of room for growth.

    Little room for growth if you don't hold an advanced degree, raises rarely based on merit but length of employment

    I worked at UCLA Health

    Pros

    The job had good health, dental, retirement, campus benefits. The staff work well together and the supervisors stay on task. The doctors have a sense of mission and so the the nurses and lab techs.

    Cons

    The room for growth can be limited. Too many jobs have no clear path upward. The salaries are lower than at other hospitals
