Tution Remission is huge pro

Can't argue with the tuition remission and the healthcare
Cons
You don't get paid a lot of money (if you don't consider the tuition remission part of your pay). You may get hired to work say 20 hours for a 50% position, but realistically in all the TA positions I have had, you work more like 30 hours a week.
