I have been working at UFC Gym full-time for more than a year

    Pros

-Fun and energetic environment -Able to interact with multiple people -Having the ability to offer people the ability to learn skills that are non-tangible and a skill set that no one could take from you -The ability to learn from the coaches either by watching or taking a class taught by them -Fun and friendly competition for a little extra motivation and push

    Cons

-People calling the gym either don't respond when you greet them over the phone then they hang up on you -Hours may not give enough time to train on a regular schedule

    I worked at UFC Gym

    Pros

Free gym membership and that’s it.

    Cons

One reviewer hit the nail on the head when they said ego is a major problem amongst management, especially with their COO/GC. I’d also throw foolish pride in there too. Most employees are under qualified and overall aren’t assessed on their work merits but rather “favoritism.” Employees who are talented and deserving of raises/bonuses don’t get it. The benefits are awful and their big selling point is the free gym membership...

    Advice to Management

Get over yourselves, swallow your egos, get more talented employees in the door and pay for it.

I worked at UFC Gym full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The fellow employees and management is organized and friendly.

    Cons

You will not make the commission that you think you will make. You will literally spend the entire day spamming people who were unfortunate enough to have a friend mention their name in a referral. You will spend all day making at least 100 phone calls (that is not an exaggeration) and meeting other impossible tasks before they even consider you taking in a walk in. This is an everyday requirement they do not tell you...

    Advice to Management

Allow sales reps to take walk ins on a turn basis. Better scheduling so as to not work 6 days out of the week.

I have been working at UFC Gym full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

I really like working here. It is definitely a very good job if you are well involved in sports. It is a very good opportunity to actually grow and self-developed. It is very high paced and that's what I love about it, you actually have to act fast and have very good coordination if you want to make the best out of it. The crew, atmosphere and classes are on point. Everyone that comes here is looking to be the best and...

I worked at UFC Gym part-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Easy to work when u have clients who want to be there and the energy is always high with gym environment

    Cons

Hard to sell personal training sessions because of self morale and values bcuz little pay to trainers and high cost to clients. I know it’s a business and very corporate but coming from small private personal gyms it’s difficult to make ways in a corporate environment for some
