    Pros

I have been working at UK Power Networks full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

UKPN is owned by a large Chinese base investment group called CKI group. This gives me a lot of confidence that the company has a lot of financial muscle backing it.

I've worked here for 16 months. In that time I have changed roles as a chance to develop my skills, and now been offered a paid part time MSc course to help me develop my career further. Not bad to me.

    Cons

Regulated company. So you could be in department that is required to make 'efficiency' cuts, every time a price control review comes around. However if you're good at your job , then it probably shouldn't affect you.

    Advice to Management

Use mid level managers to help improve efficiency, cutting back on staff and offering redundancy is not the only way to our perform the regulatory deals.

    UK Power Networks Response
