Plenty of time off, good starting salary. You can forget about work the second you leave.
Cons
Before if you don’t have a rabbi, anyone who is anyone will protect they’re own.

Pros
The headquarters has a nice first floor.
Cons
The CEO doesn't know how to unite leaders to support her plans. There's a strong passive aggressive culture that makes it difficult to move on just about anything. Leaders and employees all simply don't follow the new leadership that while fairly young seems to lean on an authoritarian type of leadership style. It's very odd. Not healthy. And their pay is awful. The leadership does not care AT ALL about a healthy work life balance. They know some are consistently working without sleep and others working an excessive amount of hours and don't seem to care.

Great for experience, but don't stick around
Apr 28, 2023 - Technician in Research Triangle Park, NCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The main benefit is the flexibility. Career opportunities used to be available, but this doesn't seem to be the case anymore for newer employees
Cons
No skill development; you'll get pigeonholed if you stay too long. I wish I had taken my experience at 5 years and left to go somewhere else, now I feel stuck The new CEO brought in a wave of new bureaucracies which makes the company feel like Office Space where you get 6 different managers nagging you if you forgot something

Disorganized political environment associated with a strong company brand
Mar 5, 2023 - Data Analyst in Chicago, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Globally known and respected Brand with a lot of regulatory pull. The company is extremely sticky making it stable during recessions. Pay is competitive with good benefits and bonus opportunities. An innovative company that invests in new solutions. The company does a lot of team-building to get to know your colleagues. Provides good equipment and tools to perform your daily tasks.
Cons
Company red tape ties employees' hands and adds to work friction. The onboarding process is short and throws you into the deep end quickly. Cross-team communication is poor and makes it hard to get things done. Leadership tends to point fingers and look for scapegoats. Management can be pushy with unrealistic expectations on turn times. The organization is large and confusing with many company-specific acronyms that take a long time to memorize.

Good company... will someday be great
May 15, 2023 - Business Development in Northbrook, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
People of exceptional knowledge from all over the world.
Cons
Very stuck in the past... trying to be current... but... not yet. Don't try so hard to be "diverse"... it will come with time. You send a message to white males that this is not the company for them.

My boss is great, my team is wonderful, I love the flexibility of working from home
Cons
They don't invest in their employees. We have to keep up to date with the everchanging world of legislation, but we can't go to the conferences and network with others in the industry. How can we learn?
