I worked at ULLINK full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The company is progressive and attempting to use modern management styles to improve employee output and performance

    Cons

The Management team is in Europe and the pay structure is difficult to climb. They are not quick to address issues and they are still locked into antiquated methods of reporting.

    Advice to Management

Spending funds on systems and the correct team to address issues is paramount to the output. Attempting to stay within budget and pushing old process with the fear of losing clients and creating short term effort needs to be addressed to move the business to the next level. The current working team has little to know business knowledge and will risk business long into the future once interfaced with... perspective buyers , auditors and customers alike.

I worked at ULLINK full-time for more than a year

    Pros

They pay for all of your medical benefits. Work schedule is pretty flexible. Generally it's a young company and the people are fun.

    Cons

There is no discernible product for US clients. I found that the US office was sort of an afterthought. Like "we need to be in the US but we don't really want to do anything for customers there." They cancelled multiple deals even after signing the contract. Imagine working to finalize a deal, having signed contracts and suddenly management decides they don't want to do the deal. Tough to maintain relationships... that way. CEO wasn't very knowledgeable about the industry.

In response to the C-Level comment, Ullink has just completed its first employee engagement survey. All management levels are included in the survey and actions will be implemented where needed.

    I worked at ULLINK

    Pros

Great office location - superb views

    Cons

Unbelievably BAD executive management with poor direction - entitled hypocrites, advantaging themselves at the expense of the rank and file who are working very hard and doing good work. CEO's stated response to any contrary opinions: fire that person.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees - instead of paying lip service and being hypocritical. Employ a CTO that actually knows something about financial services technology

I worked at ULLINK full-time for less than a year

    Pros

This company gives you 4 weeks vacation and pays for ALL of your medical.

    Cons

Rather than fix an issue and resolve a customer concern, the people in my office would rather spend the initial time pointing the finger to play the blame game.... then help the customer. Don't forget about lowballing on pay.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps if the NY and the UK and the Paris offices worked in harmony rather than as independent offices, things would be more efficient to get done.

I have been working at ULLINK full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Continuous learnings and improved my technical skills tremendously

    Cons

Low salary for entry to mid levels. It has been acquired twice by other companies in less than 5 years. Imagine supporting 3 different infrastructures all at once. Only tenured employees stay. No growth for mid level employees. Manila office is a slave to other offices; no holidays, only team that supports 24/7 365 days and on call support during restdays.
