    Harsh Winters usually interrupt commute and work.

    -Friendly stuff,
    -Supportive management,
    -One-to-one good attention from the faculties.
    -Balanced research and teaching work load.

    Cons

    - Relatively small size of PhD cohorts.
    - Cold/snowy climate (if it is important to you).

    Advice to Management

    - A lot of progress in recent years!
    - Keep up with the good work!

    I worked at UMass Lowell part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Some very nice people to work with. If you like an academic environment, it's a good place to work. There are some good amenities as well, including a gym.

    Cons

    Unless you have a phd, you won't find much opportunity for growth. Pay is not high.

    Advice to Management

    Trust your employees to do good work and they will do it. Try not to control everything and allow an environment where people can continue to grow and learn in their positions.
