    Pros

The pros would be there benefits there great and reasonably priced

    Cons

The cons would be the miss management I experienced as well as the turn around rate

    Advice to Management

My advice to management is to get more involved and actually do and not say as well as not hiring a manager and or person for a boss position who can't fill in the shoes properly no guidance or action do to the fact they fear being disliked and or chooses not to deal with confrontations there too many wannabe chiefs in an Indians position

I worked at UMass Memorial Health Care full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Competitive Pay not worth how you are treated. The campus is beautiful.

    Cons

Absolutely zero respect for employees. Sexually Harassed? Too bad. High risk pregnancy and need to work from home? Get out your check book and hire a lawyer because otherwise good luck to you. My experiences there absolutely breaks my heart because I had such high hopes going into my employment there. Zero support and respect for employees unless you are a physician. HR is an absolute joke.

    Advice to Management

    Re-evaluate your HR policies.

Poor HR, over worked, try to get out of paying OT. Always understaffed. Great vacation time, but always denied due to lack of staff. Constant staff turnover

I worked at UMass Memorial Health Care full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great benefit/benefit options but premiums are high. Easy commute from city.

    Cons

No work-life balance or support from management. Salaried employees aren't "expected" to work more than 40-45 hours, but the workload is so high you consistently do ~60 hours a week. Conflicting priorities and no clear direction from management. Very much a blame environment instead of working as a team. Staff retention is low for a reason. No pathway for moving up in the organization.

    Advice to Management

Give better support to your staff and make realistic expectations of workload so you don't burn out your employees.
