    Pros

    Decent benefits and weekend pay/shift differential. There are many courses to take advantage of and the opportunity to advance if you connect with the right people

    Cons

    There’s not much room for growth if you don’t have any healthcare or IT experience. Per diem employees are treated like outside employees unless you’re considered one of their “rockstars and have some type of license or credentials. Most employees will look down on you.

    Very helpful for students who want to make connections and and eventually want to go to PA, MED, Nursing, etc.
