I worked at UPS as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great opportunity to learn a ton and get some very real world experience. Given real projects to work on that you can actually see the impact of by the end of the summer. The end of the summer capstone presentation was an awesome experience, especially because very high level people came to watch. Showed how important the intern investment is to the company.

    Cons

Slow to get started. Very bureaucratic in the systems for getting approval to pretty much get anything done.

    Advice to Management

Find ways to streamline processes so that employees can have some autonomy in completing projects.
