I have been working at UPS part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Depending on your schedule, the hours may be a benefit. The work is usually pretty easy. There is a union and benefits available after your first year.

    Cons

Short, late night/ early morning hours. Low pay.

    Advice to Management

For the most part, management does a fine job. It is difficult to locate HR reps at times, though.

I worked at UPS part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The actual Job description and daily task when at work are simple and straight forward. The drivers are very helpful when I was confused or had a question.

    Cons

They were very unorganized with the scheduling. When they didn't need the delivery assistants they didn't call to let me know. So I would just show up and wait. They still haven't paid me my last two paycheck and won't return my phone calls or emails.

    Advice to Management

You should not treat every drivers assistant like they are valueless to the company. And I would love it if they would pay me for the work I did for them. Or at least return my phone calls.

I worked at UPS part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Probably one of the more enjoyable places I'll ever work. My job was very stress free and you build a sense of camaraderie with your coworkers because it really is a total team effort getting packages from point A to B.

    Cons

Some of the older employees there would disappear when their job was done instead of helping others finish.

    Advice to Management

Ensure that supervisors are keeping tabs on the employees that tend to disappear when there is work to be done.
