I worked at UPS SCS (UK) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    There are some nice people.

    Cons

As good as the courier side of the business is, the freight side (SCS) is awful, they are losing good contracts and people faster than they can replace them. It's incredible that a company with such a strong brand can be so inept.

    Advice to Management

Maybe promote the people who are good at their jobs rather than people who have been there a long time. The whole place seems to be mediocre and miserable.

I have been working at UPS SCS (UK) full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    There are not that many

    Cons

No logic, management with no back bone, not open to change, too many process, too top heavy, not willing to pay the going rate, compensation package - there isn't one. People in positions who shouldn't be there. Sales staff selling a product which they have no idea about.

    Advice to Management

Your people are your greatest assets, reward them for what they do. It's time to stop talking and actually act.
