    Work alone
    Fulfilling

Amazing place to be part of. Couldn't imagine doing anything else. Comrodery with co-workers is great,. Blue collar, hard work for great pay kind of place. You'll know pretty quick if it's for you.

    Cons

    Hard work
    Mentally taxing
    Must conform to appearance standards

Busting your behind can make up for intellectual deficiencies but the work requires much more brains than one would imagine.

    Pros

You get Full medical coverage for family, Full-time and Part-time. You are vested for a Pension after 5yrs.

    Cons

This company used to be great to work for, now it's all about numbers. Customer service and Family life is out the window. Constant job threats by Supervisors and Managers if you don't maintain a certain amount of delivery stops per hr. Very, Very, stressful.

    Advice to Management

    Work with, Not against

    I worked at UPS full-time

    Pros

Excellent Company. Management is amazing and very supportive. You feel they want you to be successful. Co-Workers are the best! Always willing to help if you ask. Great pay and benefits. Training prepares you very well. It is hard work but it feels good and everyone works as a team.

    Cons

It is stressful work, mainly because of the unpredictable drivers on the road.

    Advice to Management

Might help to ride with a driver before training so you can understand completely what you are being taught.

    I worked at UPS part-time

    Pros

Very fast paced, the Drivers are awesome! They need you. Desperately. So they make sure that you have whatever you need. I had a driver one year who bought me lunch EVERYDAY!

    Cons

Driver Helper jobs are only during the holidays and it gets real cold in the truck when you cant shut the doors because its in your way. So many deliveries you literally dont have time to waste opening and closing the door all the time.

I have been working at UPS part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Was a great opportunity to work for UPS. Everyone treats you with respect. Overall the company has fulfilling benefits. UPS is a very stable job and one to stay with if you can land the full time position.

    Cons

The Cons of working for UPS is the fact that it is really difficult to land a full time job position as a regular driver. You have to work in the warehouse and move up the latter.
