I have been working at US Air Force full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

No skills needed to start and 30 days vacation from the start are great. They encourage you to go to college but most bases are not near schools that can facilitate a STEM degree.

    Cons

Deployments, difficult to find good assignments, you can get stuck for a long time working for a bad manager with little recourse to change things.

    Advice to Management

open up the ability to get assigned to bases at better locations. Managers and leaders need to listen more and talk less most of the time.
