    Pros

Will learn a lot of the construction industry quickly, and learn how to manage clients at a fast paced level.

    Cons

Management has zero formal training including HR, you will be asked to perform outside of your responsibilities and not be composited for it.

    Advice to Management

Take the time to actually train employees, work on being profession around employees and bring structure to the company.

I worked at US Best Repairs full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Working with contractors nationwide building strong relationships with them and clients.
Easy job if you know the field and market.

    Cons

Horrible pay, competitors pay $4-6 more to start.
You'll be working with a bunch of know-it-all's who actually don't know a thing.
Deadlines and profit goals are never met thanks to management.
Training is approx 1-3 days you'll sit with someone who'll teach you how they do their job and be expected to succeed or you'll be let go the moment you fail.
If you're into brown nosing this is the job for you!

    Advice to Management

Get it together guys! There's a reason why all the good employees are leaving! any clue why? Because management sucks, HR sucks, pay sucks, the benefits suck!

I worked at US Best Repairs full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great clients to work for/be a part of.
    Gain knowledge in construction.
    Paid holidays (NEW)
Food truck, good food, reasonable prices.
Good location around a lot of restaurants.
    Business casual attire.
    Casual Fridays.
    Company paid activities (NEW)
People are always late and no one gets in trouble, that's a pro I guess if your not punctual.
    Free baseball tickets (favoritism)
    Raffles during holidays
If you're a new hire you'll probably get paid more than some of the current employees!

    Cons

    Rare raises.
    No retro pay.
    No bonuses.
    Health insurance is expensive.
Dr notes required based on favoritism.
    Heavy favoritism.
    Heavy work politics.
    False promises.
No vacation days, based on PTO.
    3 sick days only.

    Advice to Management

    - Search your and read emails before asking for an update or fwd, do some research, look into work orders and read the notes.
    - Enough with all the gay/sexist/perverted/Christian jokes and comments.
    - When you ask someone to train someone new, please don't tell them, they're training their new boss.
    - Employees don't need to hear about how drunk upper management got and how they threw up all over the bar.
    - When an employee tells you about the amount work they have and are expecting and ask you for more assistance/assistants-believe them. And provide them with the assistance and if you're not going to or can't at least give them a good raise so they're not discouraged with the work load for your most profitable client.
    - HR should really not be talking about employees/ employees hygiene/or even expressing how she feels towards any employee with the employees she considers her personal friends, that's how gossip starts.
-HR and upper management shouldn't be taking and treating anyone to lunch, way to show everyone else who you favor.
    - Drug test everyone.
    - Don't let hard working employees go unnoticed
    - When there's new opportunities within the company, announce the job title that's available to employees first to give them the chance to apply and grow and if they're not qualified let them know why their not good candidates.

I worked at US Best Repairs full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Hours are stable, good amount of supportive training and co-workers are nice. Day time workers had a food truck come by every day for lunch. Big office area.

    Cons

Distrust of employees among upper management. Employees let go for a few mistakes they may make on processing work orders. Lots of employees let go before 90 day probation, maybe to avoid paying for full benefits. Seems like the company has many downturns with their finances, hires for growth, but that growth isn't stable, hence many people get laid-off.

    Advice to Management

Hire part-time workers or hire at a slower rate as to not lay off so many workers in the future.

    Pros

Great contractors and coordinators. You really get to know people all over the US.

    Cons

Bad pay and worthless management team.

    Advice to Management

Focus on training and explaining why they want processors to be critical about results. Get out of your offices and work on troublesome work orders with you staff...use this as a tool for training. management kept their jobs but allowed 300 people to be laid off.

    Pros

Most but not all Managerial Dept. have good direction and appear to be Empathetic to ones situation.

    Cons

The Crazy Managerials who apply "Used Car Salesman" approach to the subordinates and clients.... Beware, if it's too good to be true, then it isn't.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to the workers
