    Pros

Pick a rate, chose your fate! I cannot stress this enough. You're rate is going to make you or break you. If you don't like your rate early on. CHANGE IT, asap. Pick a rate where the skills are transferable to the outside world for a job you can see yourself doing after your time in service. Great camaraderie. You'll make bestfriends that'll you remember for the rest of your life. Don't take it for granted. 9/11 bill is free education. USE TUTION ASSISTANCE.

    Cons

It's the military they own you. Get use to it.. Plenty of cons; however a command can really make or break a unit.
