I worked at US Foods full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Working with some great customers.

    Cons

Long hours, poor management, constant change.

    Advice to Management

Do a better job of explaining where your headed. With constant change you need to lay out a plan of where the vision is going instead of just change or we will find someone that will.

I worked at US Foods full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits. Nothing else, none, nada, you can't run fast enough away. Ok some customers are alright. Oh yea work nights, holidays, weekends, vacations

    Cons

No life, high stress, what used to be decent pay is now laughable, on call 24/7, the big wigs don't care, there's not a TM out of Fort Mill that's not looking for another job, high expectations with nothing lucrative to show for it

    Advice to Management

Get ready for the walk out....

    Pros

Benefits are ok. The work, life balance was good.

    Cons

Doesn't allow employees to grow within company to better opportunities. Would rather you stay in place and pay low wages.

I have been working at US Foods full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Large portfolio & foot print in the Food Service Industry

    Cons

Revolving Door in Upper Management - most of which have no Food service background. Employee experience and tenure are not valued. It is all about how to hire Millennials and save a buck. No job security. Positions are created and dissolved on continuum. The sales team is forced to sell US Foods brands to customers even if that is not what the customer wants. Values have been sacrificed to appease Stockholders.

    Advice to Management

Value experience & loyalty. Just because the Company has gone Public does not mean that integrity has to be compromised to please the shareholders
