    Pros

    Protect US national interests. Excellent job security. Full medical coverage. Life insurance. Excellent tax benefits. Tuition Assistance while you're active duty. Free college through the GI Bill.

    Cons

    You may die. You may get broken. You may become institutionalized. You can get into legal trouble for something a civilian employee might just get fired for. You may die.

    Advice to Management

    Present iron clad scientific data to support the fight against the politicians attempting to use the military as a social experiment.

    Pros

    Great work experience multiple deployments to Afghanistan as JFO and Fires Chief. Three Deployments total, 2010 as Fire Support Man 2/9 Echo Company, Fires Chief/ JFO in 2012 and 2013 Fires Chief for 2D ANGLICO.

    Steady income with upward movement and potential to travel the world

    Cons

    Long periods away from home due top op tempo and deployments around the globe.

    Advice to Management

    If you see a Marine at least interview them to find out more of there abilities that may not be on there resume.

    2) Process Improvement skills will be mastered
    3) Unmatched benefits (healthcare, vacation, etc)
    4) Every day you believe in what you are doing 100%

    1) Travel- if you're not willing to deploy/travel, don't join

    Great camaraderie in the unit. Received plenty of training and skills necessary for future employment.

    Unpredictable schedule and a whole lot of field exercises which could put a pause to your education
