    Pros

if you're in sales but don't like the perception that sales people have in the eyes of the public (people love to buy but don't like to be sold) then this is a great place to learn the un-sales approach. You can use these skills and transfer them to become better someplace else.

    Cons

lack of true leadership and snails pace towards change or evolution. way too many control issues to narrow it down but that's the overall theme of the shop. There are worse places in this particular vertical and this just happens to be the best house in the worst neighborhood of competitors.

    Advice to Management

    Change is good.

I worked at US Media Television full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Depending on what position you hold and your own ability to do the job you may learn a thing or two about industry, technology and current affairs as they pertain to business.

    Cons

You'll be micro-managed to death. You'll be made to feel that your opinions and ideas are heard and possibly taken into consideration but it's smoke and mirrors from the moment you walk in the door for your "interview"

    Advice to Management

Micromanage less, teach more, be honest and transparent. Even if you don't care about the people you "manage" and make money off of at least respect them as people and assets otherwise don't bother hiring them.

I have been working at US Media Television full-time

    Pros

State of the art equipment, laid-back work environment, competitive pay, generous time off policy, paid volunteer day given, leadership has integrity, electronics and gift card rewards, thriving company, short Fridays as given by most media companies.
This is the place to be employed if you want to learn, grow and thrive in the media industry. Excellent leadership!

    Cons

More time off needed throughout the year.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.

    Pros

Good hours no nights or weekends

    Cons

This company was called Platinum television Group and was fined by the attorney general's office for misleading sales practices. They did not tell me this upon my offer of employment or I would not have taken the position.

    Advice to Management

Be honest and upfront with new and current employees

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

The CEO is a great motivator offering spiffs and contests. He's very good and this opportunity should be considered.

    Cons

Good company now that the CEO fired two Sr. Executive Producers who thought they owned the company.

    Advice to Management

There is opportunity if you work hard.......

I worked at US Media Television full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Easy going, medium sized company. Great culture, great work environment, good location and easy commute. Good company to start with but don't expect much growth.

    Cons

Very strict and corporate policies on time off/vacation time, strict on arrival/lunch time, internet filters, and quite a bit of politics all around. Outdated equipments and low budgets on hardware/software upgrades restricts creative output.
