    Pros

Good people, approachable management, and a sense of pride in all the work that is completed. Hours of operation are a benefit.

    Cons

Low pay wages for tedious work that is done. Chance for advancement is few and far between. A lot of change since Arrow takeover.

    Advice to Management

    Increase pay for hourly employees

I have been working at US Micro full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great job for a single person. Get to travel and see different locations. Pays well. Lots of freedom

    Cons

Can be a tough job if married or have a family. All travel. Inconsistent. Not enough notice as to where you will be working. Schedule is week to week. Usually find out where you are working Monday on Friday.

I have been working at US Micro full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There is consistent overtime offered, a chef cooks lunch for everyone everyday, and you can pick your work for the day

    Cons

Management, air quality, adolescent work force, negative culture, quality workers over worked while doing nothing about poor workers, nepotism, and 6:30 am start time.

    Advice to Management

Let people do their job, stop having meetings about how poorly we are doing when you only mean that for one or two people, tell those people they need to step up not everyone. Thank people for doing a good job. Don't complain about other employees, communicate, and be consistent.

I have been working at US Micro full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Backed by a large organization that seems to believe in the offerings

    Cons

Very poorly run. No vision. The company is not growing in fact it is just trying to hold on to its market share.

    Advice to Management

Establish a path to success. Instead of adding more options for customers, focus on you current offerings and provide the support needed to accomplish the growth that is needed to be successful.

I have been working at US Micro full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

the company has some nice perks, such as free lunch and a gym. my immediate manager was one of the best managers i've ever had.

    Cons

the biggest downside is the way people are treated. I left the company because upper management had the attitude of "do it, or we'll find someone that will"

    Advice to Management

start to actually care about your employees.
