If you love taking things apart and experiencing a constant adrenaline rush than EOD is for you. As far as The Guard goes, it's a good way to get an experience of army life without having to live it 24/7. If you like it and want to make it your career you can enlist in active duty once you've fulfilled your contract and if it didn't appeal to you, well at least you'll have college money and something to put on your resume.
You're signing away 4-6 years of your life. There's no getting out early (unless your get severely injured) without getting a black mark on your record that will scar you for life.
Advice to Management
