I worked at USA Properties Fund full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good entry level position, you'll know right off the bat if you want to be involved in any type of property management company or real estate going forward.

    Cons

The pay is pretty awful, but i suppose entry level positions usually are.

I have been working at USA Properties Fund full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Not very many...group i work with directly is great. They do offer 401k matching.

    Cons

No bonuses even though corporate continues to say how well company is doing. Very corporatized so unless you are at the top of the food chain you aren't important enough to listen to. Very little hands on training given to staff. Corp often forgets to pass along perks to others. Pay is low

    Advice to Management

Take the time to actually listen to staff. We feel like we have no say and if we do we will be reprimanded

    Pros

You always have access to upper management, and always have someone to ask for help. Mentoring programs, training and a very caring staff at the corporate level. I can only hope to find a company this dedicated to employees.h9

    Cons

I honestly can't think of any, I've been here a year, and I am leaving soon to move back east, I hope to find a company this good back east.

    Advice to Management

Continue to support your employees and training, training training!

I have been working at USA Properties Fund full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

When they hire you they are so nice make you feel welcome. You believe you have the right job because of how compassionate and friendly they are.

    Cons

Not even two months after being with this company I notice the racism they don't care if you're Mexican Asian India or black you hear the jokes of belittling different race. How they disrespect the residences and management thinks it's funny and to see regional supervisors doing the same but it's not funny that you see so many residents hurt and in pain they don't care as long as they get there rent (money). I've seen higher management put their hands on employers belittling them in front of other employees. I would not recommend this company unless there are some major changes and it has to starts with the top.

    Advice to Management

My advice is if you learn how to truly love your family then you would truly know how to respect your employees and the residence.

I worked at USA Properties Fund full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Loved the actual work itself and enjoyed working with MOST of the employees on site.

    Cons

Much of the upper management (Regionals) and the corporate office (Compliance and HR) only care about the perception of themselves and will make sure that they look good no matter what they have to do. I witnessed harassing and unfair treatment, a Regional expecting employees to lie and illegal activity through the compliance department pertaining to tax credit paperwork so that the company would not lose money. This company has a cult like culture, you are either all in by being their robot or you leave because you refuse to adapt to the shady practices or they fire you themselves.

    Advice to Management

You have lost a lot of good employees because of people that you have running your company so if this concerns you then give exit interviews and you may find some common denominators. Ms. McCurdy and Mr. Brown, if you do not feel that it is necessary to look into such things then you are part of the problem.

I worked at USA Properties Fund full-time

    Pros

Good at first, none worth mentioning unfair to most employees, if you are looking for full time employment keep looking.

    Cons

Too many to mention..............no corporate culture, bad decision making. Managers don't manage their teams. Not a professional place of employment.

    Advice to Management

Move away from shareholder concept, hire a professional CEO and develop a corporate culture. Learn how to support the people in the organization.
