      Pros

Okay starter carrier Average run is about 800 to 1000 miles I averaged 2700 The pay is actually good for a large carrier that trains drivers I'm still friends with my trainer to this day (I'm told I got lucky though by other current and former USA drivers...)

      Cons

Severe lack of communication. They will not answer the phone or qualcomm in a timely manner on ANYTHING. You can expect to be on hold for 30 minutes or more even on urgent matters requiring immediate attention. Trucks are governed at 62 or 63. If they are unsatisfied with your fuel economy or idle time they will cut you down to 59. That ad in the trucking papers where they say you can "bank your home time" is an outright lie. You get 1 day of home time for every 7 days worked, can only bank up to 4 (If you work more than 28 days at a time you don't accumulate any more home time) They will drag their feet getting you home when you're due for home time. I stayed out for 28 days at a time so I could have 4 days. They always tried to call me on the second or third day to get me to leave early. I finally stopped answering my phone if it was them while on home time. They will try to write you up for things you're not even guilty of, that they can't even prove.

        Pros

the perdeim here is decent pay not sure miles sometime are good and others pathetic

        Cons

the biggest downer at usa that have found is maintenance on truck stinks to say it mildly and frankly this is the 1st company that have worked for that dispatch and road service do not comunicate so if truck has a problem it the drivers responiblity to make sure every deptment at usa knows at every other company i have worked for all departments was on same page that way trucks run better and more efficent, other probs here trucks olny go 60mph loads figured at 65mph so ontime here is almost impossible and hometime here is on a if dispatch wants let you the driver go home then the driver can go home these are the three biggest probs here

      Project Coordinator

I recently had an interview with a hiring manager. The conversation went well in my opinion and they ended it by saying they would “like to schedule a day for me to meet their team and get a feel for the projects they’re working on and then have the conversation about what I’m looking for as far as compensation.” I’m not sure what to expect from this, a part of me feels like this means they might want me for the role, but the process is a little unorthodox from my experience. Any thoughts?

Does anyone know the competency based questions you’ll be asked for a Business Development Analyst role at Aon? I have an upcoming pre-recorded online video interview that I have to submit within 7 days.
