I worked at USANA Health Sciences full-time

    Pros

The people you work with are some of the best I've ever been around. It was a breath of fresh air when I first started to feel like I worked for a place that actually cared about it's employees.

    Cons

If you are in an MLM, there are aspects of the business you can't get away from and at the end of the day, I struggled with buying into the vision and dreams they were selling associates. The culture was on a steady decline in many departments. Leaders around and above me were just not equipped with the knowledge to get the company to the next level. I started to see a lot of the key players in the organization leave. In my opinion, people stay there too long and get comfortable as leaders, squandering the talent below them.

    Advice to Management

Don't be afraid to let leaders go that aren't keeping up with the pace of the company. It's causing you to lose people that are trying to make a difference at the company.

    Pros

Good benefit and wellness package with onsite trainers. Your health and well being is a priority to the company.

    Cons

I have to agree with another comment promotions are "boys club" and based on popularity. You will succeed based on who you went to school with or who you know.

    Advice to Management

Please refer to the above cons message. You should not be so hasty to promote.

I worked at USANA Health Sciences full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some awesome people work at USANA. They also have really good benefits like product, gym, workout classes.

    Cons

You really can't get anything done in this company. Someone is always able to hold you back from doing some awesome stuff. They seem to be very satisfied with status quo and not really challenging the skills and creativity of their employees. The culture is a little to rigid as well. It's not really a fun place to work and you always have to be very careful of what you say and who you say it around.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to save everyone's feelings and work hard to get that ship corrected. Focus on making things better and not tip toeing around everyone because you're going to hurt people's feelings.
