    None at all very toxic work place

    Cons

    Culture of Bullying and harassment Low wages No bonuses even if you exceed KPI’s Very poor safety culture Management only care if it cost money Boys club in management Don’t question management retaliate if you do

    Can’t fix what is rotten

    I worked at USG Boral full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Pay is okay. At first you will feel warmly welcomed for the first 3months.

    Cons

    No clear directions, keeps on changing them. Management does not hear out the employees. They don't have a process for serving PIP to employees. They just give it out of the blue. Favoritism is there.

    Advice to Management

    Hear out thr employees. Don't play favoritism.

    I worked at USG Boral full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Well structured flow of process, documentation, audit system, and neat organization. Annual training provided for every employee, based on both passion and personal development. Bonus and salary increment are just fair and based on KPI

    Cons

    No negative things when I worked at the BORAL (now USG Boral).

    I have been working at USG Boral full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Dry construction going up in India and there is only one more company in gypsum board in India which is Saint Gobain. If you do not get chance in Saint Gobain you can work here. When in 2007 our co. was Lafarge Boral roles were clear and everyone had opportunity to perform. Since 2014 when it become USG Boral only the CEO dictates terms others follow, so need to be in good books of CEO

    Lots of politics, the CEO who was appointed in 2014 from USG appointed old staff from Saint Gobain, where he worked before, who were not getting work anywhere else and were only loyal to him. So the company turned from professional company to one man managed company. Politics and back stabbing became the daily affair and the CEO used divide and rule policy.     Advice to Management

    Develop team instead of putting all power in hand of CEO. CEO can leave company anytime or destroy work culture dooming company, instead if a team is developed risk of collapse less. The HO at Kuala Lumpur should monitor why people leave - is due to better job? or made to leave due to dictator CEO personal revengeful nature? Anyway at present there is no CEO only confusion remove confusion first.

      Pros

      Good basic salary and benefits such as medical. Spouse and children medical are able to be claimed but a have capped value per year.

      Cons

      Bonus are totally base on self performance and company performance. It does not mean everyone get the same and fair bonus for sales and admin. Multiplier and calculation is base on sales or non sales staffs. Thus, when you join the company it is not fair Back end admin are not important to company.       In order to bring the company to have a better picture, everyone should be treated evenly. Back end admin staffs are also important, because without them, sales are one-man show.

      Pros

      Basic salary and annual bonus is good.

      Cons

      Different work culture. very much based on the development of the country especially constructions. A product that developers and end user are not familiar with and reluctant to change due to is a plasterboard which the sound proofing is a concern.

      Spending money upgrading the plant

      Cons

      Large churn of staff positions over the last two years with large loss of knowledge. New staff will struggle.

      Advice to Management

      Leaving staff and a very poor performing plant -people are not happy. Short term outlook not promising.
