    Pros

They certainly follow up when you are of interest to their clients.

    Cons

They will call and e-mail at all hours, expecting immediate responses. They will slip up on details, like what the salary is going to be.

    Advice to Management

    Stop running a recruiting sweatshop.

I worked at USM Business Systems full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

•The transparency between employees within the Chantilly & Plano office, this does not refer to management by all means.
•Entry-level recruiter salary for the area (definitely not the commission, which you may never get ultimately)
•The culturally alike managers (who then quit before you even start or a month after you start)

    Cons

Just about everything & that’s to be taken literally. Micromanagement is the number one thing this company does but will NEVER admit. Management will do everything in their power to not directly speak to you regarding issues whereas they will hire people to “watch” you & run back to tell them, who then end up quitting themselves. People quit just about every week, very few stay longer than 6 months. When you do address them directly, expect negativity or no response at all especially from the CEO. Communication is their biggest downfall & they are never on the same page because they never talk to one another. The BDMs will call you every 10 mins taking away your time to do your job but expect over 50 outbound calls. Actually the BDMs have never recruited themselves & are zero help in regards to being successful. They barely do their jobs but get mad when numbers aren’t hit. The list goes on but overall, chose a different company. USM doesn’t quite understand how the market is or how potential candidates behave. They want to hire people at ridiculously low salaries & expect high return. IT is a competitive industry & unfortunately USM isn’t anywhere near the top.

    Advice to Management

To be successful in the American market, you must understand the market & be proactive in fixing your culture barriers in the offices. Own up to your wrongs to be respected. Lastly, don’t compare your US & India based employees, ultimately you may reduce turnover.

I worked at USM Business Systems full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Opportunity to impact a small organization and the entry level recruiting classes.

    Cons

Micromanagement, disrespect, lack of care of employee, indifference from management, not paying out commissions as agreed upon, lack of resources (internet goes out sometimes, job boards lose access sometimes, no LinkedIn Recruiter accounts), communication issues, underpays all employees and will try to low ball every candidate on every offer, sneaky management; will try to employ friends with no background in the staffing space to micromanage U.S. employees, lack of organization (i.e: CEO wanted a spreadsheet created for candidate tracking but would often never check the spreadsheet and had admitted to it several times. What was the purpose of the spreadsheet?).

    Advice to Management

If you want to reduce turnover understand the differences in fundamental cultural business practices.
