I worked at USPet Nutrition full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The management team has been retooled to include the talent needed for the new business strategy. Going forward, the company should be able to grow at a steady rate and provide opportunities for employees to grow.

    Cons

Company direction has been unsure due to grave mistakes made in the past. The reverberations of these mistakes will undoubtedly be felt for years to come.

    Advice to Management

Continue to focus on controlling costs and find ways to show that the past is not doomed to repeat itself.

I worked at USPet Nutrition full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Atmosphere was very challenging and fast paced. Most management was helpful and available to all associates.

    Cons

Lack of business caused several people to be laid off. Fortunately for those that stayed...they got to keep the better managers and the junk left the company.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your people and be honest with them .

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

easy to get by since no one cares... no management, no professional checks... if you have a thick skin and don't care attitude, it is very easy to earn a below average salary and getting by

    Cons

simply no professionalism, no competence, nor management... (competence is not rewarded; and incompetence is not dealt either)
the company has been losing money for the past 6 years... Thai Union continues to sponsor this company, based on the fancy words from the management and dream-like rev.and profit projections.

yes, all you need is sweet talks! and surprisingly, it works! Middle age white males with "BS" skillset are highly desirable, and almost guaranteed to be hired!

or if you are sent by Thai Union, then you can have any position!!! How about going from Secretary/HR in Thailand to VP of Operations for this company? Oh, by the way, with poor English skill too.

    what a joke!

    Advice to Management

    keep playing the game!
