A company to build a career with intentions to retire

    Sep 16, 2017 - Assembler/Engineering Technician in Riverside, CA

    Business Outlook

    Pros

Some of the best reasons to work here are the benefits and the operating system. Educational benefits are phenomenal, best in the industry. The business operating system makes jobs easy and clear, it helps an employee understand the company as a whole and clearly understand the role in this massive corporation.

    Cons

Like in any company there will always be some cons. Sometimes gossip and favoritism can shine. Sometimes people don't get along. I personally had an issue with a cell leader and so did many other people. But this type of negativity can happen at any company and there are other negative things to say but mind you, the pros outweigh the cons. And most of the cons are just social matters but the pros are not common place in many companies.

Hard work does not pay off in this establishment!!!

Apr 28, 2017 - Assembler in Fairfield, CA

    Business Outlook

    Pros

Learning new skills. Great group of co-workers.

    Cons

First and foremost, unfair wages. You may find yourself training a new-hire with little or no experience, who is paid the same or more than yourself (even with years of experience within the company)! Females tend to be paid less than males, regardless of the experience level. Also, females are given significantly less opportunities than males to move up in rank. More often than not, there will be no recognition from supervisors/management for a job well done, or going above and beyond. Entirely too much favoritism and unfair treatment from some (not all) of the supervisors and management. While working for this company, I have never met so many dedicated, hard working individuals as I have here, yet, appreciation for the employees, even senior ranking individuals, is extremely rare!

Terrible place to workc and management

May 12, 2017 - Assembler in Everett, WA

    Business Outlook

    Pros

Proximity of work location is close to home.

    Cons

Terrible work culture. Employees encourage to Rat on other employees. For example . I generaly always wash my hands prior to exiting bathroom. one time I must have forgot (?), it was then reported by observing employee too Manager (not my lead). I'm sure everyone at one time or the other has forgot to wash their hands. Employees consistently rat on other employees for even trivial things (not related to being work compliant ). Cost of living in Seattle area is very high and growing - pay is a joke and to work your way to upper range of pay scale is almost unattainable - have to jump through way too many hoops. management is terrible and constantly changing.

    An ok place

Sep 18, 2016 - Assembler in Redlands, CA
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Set hours, no forced overtime, decent pay, regular pay raises, on site gym, mostly laid back, coworkers are mostly good people

    Cons

forced to join the union, union dues are pretty high, most union shop stewards are pretty lazy, management is clueless, the lazy get promoted while the hard workers are ignored, it's not about what you know or do - it's about who you're related to.
