I worked at UTi Worldwide full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I actually enjoyed my position as a Service Orders person when I started, I learned a lot.

    Cons

Management was horrific. I had been bullied by the same coworker for over 6 months before something finally got done about it. HR was involved and all that. I decided to quit because not enough was done about my harassment and i knew it never would be completely handled properly.

    Advice to Management

They simply need to listen better. They ignored great advice and help, only hurt themselves.

    Pros

Small enough to give that personal touch to some of the bigger clients.

    Cons

Too many chiefs not enough Indians. The arguing was insane amongst managers.

    Advice to Management

Find employees that can keep personality conflicts at the door and act professional without trying to split the office on which side you want to be on and worry about your job at the same time.

    Advice to Management

I think managers were open and easy to talk too.I appreciated the open door policy and the call in hotline. I also like the promotion based of merit not time.

I worked at UTi Worldwide full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Had some nice coworkers. Easy job, they rotate on-call. Was in the rotation for a year. Never ever had a single call.

    Cons

People in charge of DevOps group are idiots. They overwork key resources and waste others.

    Advice to Management

Cost effectiveness should be a driving point in any business. At UTi what was 'cool and neat new' technology was the focus. Not consistency, not improvement, not cost nor quality. I understand why they are out of business.
