I have been working at Uber for more than a year

    Pros

Flexibility, meeting new people, interesting stories

    Cons

Vehicle wear and tear and high mileage costs far more than most drivers realize. You're not making nearly as much as you think you are! Sarasota area flooded with drivers; very hard to get enough rides to make worthwhile money during off-peak days and hours. REALLY slows down during the summer/off-season.

    Advice to Management

Please stop lowering driver pay while raising rider rates! Uber driving used to pay reasonably well, but now it works out to less than minimum wage after expenses. Reward drivers who take pride in their vehicles and provide high quality service to passengers. (REAL rewards, not just a pat on the back!)

I have been working at Uber for more than a year

    Pros

    Work Life balance. Interesting people.

    Cons

In a small City like Daytona, FL. Outside of an actual event; Bike week, Races. You are lucky to break even after gas and wear and tear on car. I have over 1k trips and have made 9k. This with a 4.91 rating. You do the math.

    Advice to Management

Recognize your company is built on the driver. You avoid every expense other companies have to pay; unemployment insurance, health benefits etc... Yet I'm lucky to eat ramen noodles.

I worked at Uber for more than a year

    Pros

Flexible schedule and daily cash out

    Cons

Started a couple of years back, then the pay was much better. Now Atlanta driver amounts are super low. You are driving longer distances and getting paid less. Spike in bad passengers, a lot of vulgar language even from so called business people, lack of respect for you and your car. Very racist passengers and many have this complex of self entitlement. Airport waiting is full of smoking drivers, loud music and... long waits. Buckhead has super low rates as well as many other high end place. Not even worth driving anymore. You’re better off doing a 9-5 and save your car from wear and tear and the excessive accidents that you see when driving. Too much road rage, and bad drivers!!!
