    Pros

Great starting point in the fitness industry. I worked here while I was in College, and my manager allowed me to make my own scedule around classes

    Cons

The pay is not great, but it is god for experience. The managers are replaced every month or two, so the experience level is low for management.

    Minimum wage and unrealistic expectations

May 16, 2022 - Assistant FItness Manager in Houston, TX

    Pros

Free gym membership and the commission is pretty alright if you can make a sale

    Cons

    1. If someone cancels their personal training contact, then it comes out of your paycheck 2. You work long hours where a whole pay period will go by and you haven't made a sale 3. Barely any benefits because when you realize you're getting paid pennies to lie to people, you'll want to leave as soon as you can

    Kind of a scam

Nov 1, 2021 - Sales Associate in Lewisville, TX
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

You get to be around health and fitness all day and work at a gym.

    Cons

You pretty much screw people over to buy personal training without any follow-up. The contracts they sign pretty much lock them in to paying for 6 months to a year without a way out. You usually don't mention it during the sales pitch.

    Pros

Flexible schedule, mostly friendly clients, opportunities for further advancement within the company

    Cons

Pay isn’t too great starting off and you need to work around the clients schedules. Meaning you’ll be in the gym early in the morning and later in the evening.
