    Pros

All employees were working with the same goal to all get the most money during a given shift

    Cons

The managers. They were trying to help out their servers, but in reality they ended up fostering a negative atmosphere

I worked at Uncle Julio's Hacienda full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The food was great quality.

    Cons

Worst management I have ever encountered. Horrible negative environment where they have no problem making even their top servers feel worthless. Unprofessional in all areas. Threaten you regularly to get something out of you. They couldn't care less about any of their employees.

    Advice to Management

Fire every manager and start new. The turnover rate is high (even for a restaurant) FOR A REASON. If you don't fix this flaw, this company will completely fall apart.

I worked at Uncle Julio's Hacienda full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I liked coming to work because I enjoyed my co-workers and liked the atmosphere. The place is very seemingly organized, clean and runs seamlessly. Everyone is a hard worker and I liked that there was a definitive hierarchy with management.

    Cons

Probably one of the worst places I've worked at. People were overworked. Julio's expects everyone to give up social lives, family lives and anything in between to be at work from 9am-12pm at night. Didn't matter if you were hired at Part-time everyone was Full-time there. Management was always messed up, over or under staffing people. The company doesn't care about their employees. They just want you to work as hard as you can for them and then come back the next day to another 14 hour day. Customers were rude and inconsiderate of servers. I would come home with 70 dollars for being there from about 10am-11pm which is garbage. Take-out position is a joke especially if you live in a city that primarily uses 3rd party take out delivery services. They tell you you'll be paid 8.25 an hour but actually you're just making 8.25 and maybe 10 dollars a day is tips IF you're lucky. And the best part about it is that the city's minimum wage is 10.25 so actually making less than the law says. This company is a joke and the root is the horrible corporate office that lets it run this way. Don't work here!

    Advice to Management

Hire more people and stop bringing more people on in the morning only for them to be cut and Brought back less than 2 hours later!

    Pros

Great coworkers, fun atmosphere, positive work environment - overall a great part-time job for a college student.

    Cons

Having to fill slower brunch shifts on the weekends - fine as a hostess with an hourly rate, but not for earning tips as a server.

    Pros

people are cool, the food is good, overall fun place to work

    Cons

management experiences constant turnover..some are really strict about rules, others not so much. none of them are consistent with each other though. they play favorites, will fire ppl on the spot just because they dont like them. ironically theyre the most unprofessional part of the staff.

    Pros

You meet a lot of people.

    Cons

Management is always shaky at best. Will hire anyone. Value is decreasing

    Advice to Management

Learn how to respect your employees. Employees quit their bosses not their jobs. Upper management should do a better job training their managers and evaluating their effectiveness. If there is a high turnover rate then managers should look at what they're doing wrong.

I worked at Uncle Julio's Hacienda (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The other servers and the lower level staff were friendly and helpful.

    Cons

The management was below average. The floor managers were always cycling in and out and each one seemed to be replaced by someone who was even worse at their job. Employees were not treated well.
