I have been working at Under Armour full-time

    Pros

The discount is fantastic [half off], and the benefits package for full time employees is unbelievable.

    Cons

Toxic work place environment, and poorly structured corporate sector. Salary is NOT competitive, in any way. I average 58 hours per week, and make marginally more than my other managers.

    Advice to Management

As a company, we could beven better about emphasizing a fair work-life Balance. This doesn't seem to be on anyone's radar, throughout the entire company.

I have been working at Under Armour part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone comes from different backgrounds, and culture, and we respect each other so well. Also just getting to know the brand, and seeing how innovative the company is with creating new technologies or just new gear.

    Cons

In retail there are always going to be some cons. Having athletes not want to talk or not needing help when shopping can sometimes be rough.

    Advice to Management

No matter what everyone should always just have an open mind, and keep pushing our teammates to do their best.

I worked at Under Armour full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The discount and some of the people you will meet there.

    Cons

If you have any kind of scenario where your pay would be different than your regular paycheck, they may or may not pay you. If you're on maternity leave, they may not pay you (I'm not the only one this happened to in my district). When they don't pay you, they will talk to you like you are wrong and are the idiot even though it's YOUR PTO that YOU EARNED and they should disperse it the way you tell them to so you don't have to go almost a month without a paycheck after just having a baby. Also, when you return from maternity leave, they may not pay you correctly. Finally, when you realize you don't have to work for an employer that treats you like dirt anymore and get a job somewhere else, they will probably not pay you correctly on your final pay either. What? Donald Trump gets elected and all of a sudden it's okay to keep people form their hard-earned money that they need to survive? Save yourself the trouble and go make more money somewhere else-- the pay isn't that competitive to begin with anyway. This is not a female-friendly employer. I slayed it four years at this company (steady career progression with plenty of results) and then when all of a sudden you are adding to your family and need to lean on your company to help you out (aka maternity leave and Short Term Disability), the view on you changes. Especially, when you decide to take more than 6 weeks so you can bond with your child.

    Advice to Management

Pay your people what they are due and pay them on time. This is not something to be taken lightly. Your employees give you their blood, sweat and tears and then you treat their pay like it's a handout to be begged for. Also, your treatment of mothers is embarrassing. Sorry, I'd rather not work somewhere that treats employees like peasants.

I have been working at Under Armour part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great sales employees. Amazing assistant managers.

    Cons

Lack of communication amongst the management (especially the store manager), lack on appropriate training for associates, lack of compassion, hours and availability.

    Advice to Management

We are your employees, not mind readers, and your supposed to be our managers/captains. Set an example and guidelines. Berating your employees for something they are not aware of doesn't help you anymore than it does us. We really care about the brand, but you guys don't make it easy.

They are flexible with my schedule and my managers are very caring about certain situations.

    Advice to Management

Theres really nothing to talk about. It is a great company to work with and I hope that I can advance.
