I have been working at UniFirst full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Expectations are very straight-forward and there is no gray area. A lot of support from upper management who want to see you succeed in your current position to eventually promote you. Great training programs/classes which provide continuous education for both Product Knowledge & Sales Process knowledge. Hard-working, dedicated, and overall gritty sales people who follow the process will be successful and can make up to six figures with their commissions.

    Cons

Outside Sales Representatives at UniFirst are responsible for New Account Sales meaning you need to have a hunter mentality, dominant personality and be willing to work long hours to accommodate the customers needs. If you are easily offended, can’t take high rejection and are uncomfortable asking difficult questions that move the sales process forward then you won’t be successful here.

    Advice to Management

Continue to lead team through challenges/issues by clearly explaining where your team went wrong and the solution to the problem in the future without getting overly upset or annoyed.
