I have been working at Union Hospital (Dover) (Less than a year)

    Pros

A wonderful and rewarding place to work.

    Cons

Sometimes a little overwhelming, and company has taken many benefits from their employees causing a feeling of disregard.

    Advice to Management

Don't brake employee s for granted. They are you business. Always make them feel respected and acknowledged for what they do.

I worked at Union Hospital (Dover) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent pay and benefits. Great people, great patients, nice facilities. Diverse work areas to broaden you knowledge base and experience.

    Cons

Horrible unqualified managers and upper echelon. I never felt that the company was truly vested in me as a provider even though I did whatever was asked of me and then some. When you genuinely have a concern the management doesn't care. This applies to the low man on the totem pole up to the physicians. Strongly discourage anyone from working here.

    Advice to Management

Get more qualified people to run your facilities. Listen to the providers that are driving your income. Meet people where they are and don't expect them to conform to what you want them to be.

again the "good ole boys club" feeling, if you are one of them there is no chance of advancement or a chance of growing in your department and climbing the ladder
