    Pros

    Pay and benefits if your a agreement employee, but we will see how long that last with new contract negotiations going on

    Cons

    Hostile work environment, no schedule, on call 24/7 but yet get penalized for having to take off to take care of family/personal obligations, making trains too long is extremely unsafe, upper management will smile in your face while stabbing you in the back, and completely forgotten how to railroad

    Good benefits and pay. You get to see the world.

    Cons

    On call all the time. Can not plan anything in life and they will own you if you expect to keep a job with them. Union Pacific Railroad will be your new family.
