I worked at Unison Site Management full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Interesting work, ability to learn more and develop skills, great coworkers, monthly luncheons, bonuses, good balance of work vs family life, most managers cared for their employees, nice atmosphere, activities for the offices.

    Cons

The company is closing so most of the employees have been let go. Not sure how the company stands now - if anything will be made of the leftovers. Biggest con was that there was not much room for an employee's salary to grow over a long employment. The health insurance also was expensive compared to other companies', but at least had decent coverage.

    Advice to Management

Always be honest with your employees, never keep them in the dark about the company's position. Listen to your employees and heed their professional advice when it comes to work.

I worked at Unison Site Management full-time

    Pros

Excellent personnel. Great management team. Advised landowners receiving rent from cell tower operators on their land about how best to leverage their revenue. Work from home, unlimited earnings potential, lifetime friendships.

    Cons

Unnecessary sales metrics, presentation bordered on half-truths when it came to "upside discussions", and a blurry competitive advantage.

    Advice to Management

Pivot. Now. There are ways to reinvent the company that are a lot more profitable and sustainable

    Pros

Great sales Mgr. Thorough training and the Managers are willing to help you close almost any deal.

Unusual concept to explain to prospective Customers. Many smaller competitors who have a lower overhead therefore, they can get deals completed for less money.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work as far as assistance goes. Continue to be available to the staff and remain upbeat.
