I have been working at Unisys full-time

    Pros

Good work-life balance, flexible schedules, regular training material, personable employees who support each other.

    Cons

Little to no opportunity for advancement. Have seen many new hires initially happily accept a job eventually lead to a passive attitude and feeling unsupported and overworked by management for little compensation.

I have been working at Unisys full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent benefits as far as health insurance
2 weeks vacation, increases to 3 weeks after 5 years
"Unlimited" sick time, although of course that means you have no set days you can take off that are totally ok for you to take. Double edged sword
    Pay rate is decent

    Cons

VERY rare to get raises, and they are a joke
Management is clueless about what is going on. Totally disconnected from what its like to be on the "front lines"
Lots of spam emails about stuff that has nothing to do with your job
I felt very disconnected from my company, although my team was great

    Advice to Management

You have individual teams, not a company. Your management team is so disconnected from everyone below you that you are shouting across the Grand Canyon. Stop pretending like we're all in this together. We're not.

Stop pretending that sending out emails praising us is enough reward. Give raises. Tough year? Too bad. That isn't on our backs. That is on your backs. Don't penalize us, the ones who do the grunt work. We don't make hundreds of thousands of dollars. Most of us don't even make close to 6-figures.
