    Pros

There were no positives with this company.

    Cons

Most unprofessional place I have ever worked at. Management plays favorites. Does not adhere to most laws. Managers get away with everything yet write up their team members for the exact same behavior. Very "ghetto" atmosphere. Benefits were awful. Very high turnover rate.

    Pros

The financial stability and potential for continued growth is solid. The Ft Worth office leadership are seeking to improve, in all areas it seems.

    Cons

The existing business model is industry standard, and while that format is making strides for the company, it leaves tons of money and "doing good" on the table. The problem is that no one is contesting the norms -they simply "pat each others back"

    Advice to Management

Shake up your industry sector - be ingeniously creative and mold your business model into something new and exciting - leadership not mediocrity. Do good (better) to those who fill your pockets, be more generous, to the point of hurt! By law, you reap what you sow. Learn from Google.com

    Pros

Ping pong, little to no micromanaging, flexible schedule, team trips, free lunch on occasion, great people, able to take time off during the week if you work Saturday.

    Cons

Upper management does not communicate with employees. It never seemed like they really cared about us. Sales had to work out of the office and on holidays. Not working weekends was highly frowned upon. No work/life balance. Talked down to by upper management frequently. Commission cuts and program changes caused harder sells and therefore less money to be made.

    Advice to Management

You need to revamp your upper management team. High turn over is caused by who you are putting in these roles.

I worked at United Auto Credit Corp full-time

    Pros

The company has been in business a long time and is well known in the industry.
Most company employees are hard working and good peers to work with.

    Cons

    Unprofessional and ineffective management
    Poor corporate culture
Little honesty or respect in communication

    Advice to Management

Worked at UAC for over a year and left voluntarily recently. I do not usually write reviews but felt an obligation to provide some insight to prospective candidates about the culture and leadership at this company.

The company is experiencing significant problems. At the beginning of the year they kept saying we had to grow the portfolio to stay profitable. Now the company is shrinking and the future seems increasingly uncertain.

Most employees are pretty good but the real problem is with top leadership. The employees have little respect or trust in the CEO or his top executives and have nicknamed them the “Three Stooges”. They hardly ever communicate with staff and when they do it is only about what is convenient to them and treat everyone like they are too stupid to see through their hollow words. For a woman the company culture is especially bad.

The everyday comments and behavior of the male executives towards women is alarming. I wonder if they would ever want their wives or daughters to work here. How managers have not been fired based on their actions says something about the culture that exists and is promoted from the CEO down. Most of the talented female employees are gone or are leaving and how any self-respecting professional woman would want to stay here is bizarre.

No environment is perfect but unfortunately things are a lot worse here than one would expect from a company with a long history. Be very leery of the recruiters and the positives they convey about the company, its values or its managers. They are largely untrue or highly exaggerated.

The culture explained by the writer is not the culture of the company. From the CEO down the development of people and respect for one another are core values of the company. Diversity of culture ... More

    Pros

Tries to embody a team spirit. Can gain knowledge in the automotive industry and how it works for indirect lending.

    Cons

Bad leadership and management. VP level does not keep department management looped in on problems within the company or their own departments. Does not allow management to run their departments.
