I have been working at United Bankshares full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Bank hours are great! A pretty normal 9-5 job, holidays paid off. It's a smaller bank but growing.

    Cons

The pay is not up to par compared to other banks. Communication between operations could be better.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the employees, they are the ones doing the dirty work with deposits. The are the first face the customer sees. Take a better look at pay!

I worked at United Bankshares full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Hours, Time Off is easy to come by, Other Benefits 401K Sick Leave, No Fees on products, Off on Holidays.

    Cons

Everything else literally! Pay, Coworkers, Managers, Products, Recognition. It's hard to grow with this company if 1. You don't know people and 2. You haven't been there for years (5+)

    Advice to Management

I would really just make sure the managers in some districts are right fit for their position. At times I've thought if district managers etc walked into this branch this moment they would not be pleased. If there's a problem occurring I would talk to everyone privately since 9/10 branch managers aren't doing their job :)
