I worked at United Community Ministries full-time

    Pros

Ok pay, I liked my direct supervisor while working there.

    Cons

I think a lot of people who work there are either inexperienced or pretty incompetent. Not much room to grow either.

I worked at United Community Ministries (More than 5 years)

    Pros

This place does good for the community. The people that work here are friendly and really care about the people who are down on their luck and needs help

    Cons

The CEO is horrible. She's mean and constantly puts people down. She doesn't have an original thought in her brain but says that no one that works there is as smart as she is. She is the definition of a jerk. Maybe one day her boss aka the Board will realize she's a waste of space and doesn't know the first thing about being a real leader
I had to leave. loved my job. Couldn't stand the chief monster.

    Pros

Rewarding work in the community. Thankful to have a job!

    Cons

Very low salary and limited benefits. They make it hard to be satisfied given the low salary.

    Advice to Management

Treat people as individuals... don't punish new people for past employees discretions!

I have been working at United Community Ministries as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

One meets and works with an outstanding group of people with a multitude of personalities. That teaches one patience, tolerance, and diversity.

    Cons

Because of the large variety of personalities, rules, regulations, and terms, change regularly.

    Advice to Management

I have no advice at this time.
